Regulatory frameworks need to resemble a scaffolding, not an edifice
A regulator should be an enabler, not an obstacle. However, over time, many regulations have become complex, outdated, and disconnected from ground realities—making it harder for industries to function efficiently. Whether it's aviation, telecom, or restaurants, businesses face costly compliance, infrastructure challenges, and regulatory overreach that stifle innovation and growth. Regulation should act like scaffolding—supporting and guiding industries—not like a rigid edifice that suffocates them. Enabling frameworks, not excessive controls, are the need of the hour for sustainable progress.
